Really not my type of film. I just found it annoying and boring. I'm sure a lot of stuff happens in the subtext and stuff but I just wasn't interested. I didn't want to find out what was going to happen. There were many moments where I really felt 'what on earth is going on?'. I just grew tired of it and I was glad when it was over. All the metaphors and other hidden messages just didn't influence me in the slightest.

A really good cast and interesting story made it worth watching and I definitely feel like I know the characters more (coming from a non comic reader or X-men fan) so for me it was good and kept my attentions but I don't know how a hard core fan would feel. It did get a bit obvious and draining to watch towards then end but overall it was an ok movie.

Yes, the acting was brilliant from Rooker and it was an involving story but it just seemed to drag and some of the performances were horrendous. There were many times when I just wanted to turn it off and at the end I felt like I had sort of wasted my time as there was no change from the start of the movie. More people were murdered and Henry just kept on doing what he did with no remorse. I'm not suggesting that Henry should have been caught or 'turned around', I just wanted more than to see him drive off with no consequences.
